Our Servicing Department,
originally formed to meet the needs of the Mechanical Department, now runs as
a separate division.
We carry out the bulk of work
with our own staff of 3 servicing and maintenance engineers, most of whom
have served their apprenticeships with the company. Pickups have been
entrusted with work in York Minster, Ripon Cathedral, Ampleforth College, The
University of York and carry out regular work for local authorities in
Schools, Hospitals and Elderly Persons Homes.
Pickups are members of the
H.V.C.A. CORGI, N.I.C.E.I.C, OFTEC.
and the E.C.A.
Our servicing
and maintenance
engineers are regularly sent on courses to obtain current certification and
training to comply with the governing bodies within our industry.
