New Boiler Plant installed.
Completed by the end of 2004, H Pickup was responsible for upgrading the main boiler plant, and various other boilers within the hospital grounds.

The bulk of the work consisted of replacing the existing solid fuel boiler plant with new dual fuel boilers, in another location. New gas and oil supply's were routed to the new plant room, and a bunded oil tank sited in an outdoor compound.

New boilers were also installed in the Ambulance Station, which also required a new gas supply. And 9 individual residential units.

New BMS (Building Management System) control panel was installed to serve the new plant rooms.

Existing connections to the redundant boiler plant were re-routed to the new boiler plant. These connections were done in one single operation with downtime to the heating system being at an absolute minimum.

Various subcontractors including GBH who were employed to install a new 250 Dia. gas main. Andover Controls were responsible for installing the BMS control panel.
