Founded in 1892 by Harry
Pickup, then Heating and Steel Structural engineers, Pickups produced
cast iron gates, fences, gas lamps, railings and met the needs of the
local area for water supplies and heating installations.

After the formation of the
Electrical Department in 1948 and splitting from the Steel Structural
side in 1982, Pickups has gone on to develop a well established and
reputable company. A high quality service is now provided in Mechanical,
Electrical and Under Floor Heating installations, encompassing design and
servicing in both commercial and industrial applications.
